The Burley Moor Run is an annual event held in November as part of the Burley in Wharfedale Summer Festival. Runners of all abilities can expect a warm welcome and a personal challenge on the offroad course with a strong possibility of mud!

The run has established itself in the calendar of running events. The course is 11k on footpaths some of which are steep and uneven, but they are well marked. There will be stewards to guide and assist where required. The course goes from Scalebor Park up to the high point of Burley Moor near the Great Skirtful of Stones and then returns to Scalebor.

2019 was the 10th run with over 180 entrants and finish times from 43 minutes to 1 hour 42 minutes.

Due to the lock down the 2020 event was a virtual ‘more time – moor run’ event.

2021 will be return to normality with the race scheduled for Saturday 13 November.

Cost: £5 in advance/ £6 on the day. (Please email for bank details for transfers)

The run will start at 10 am but please arrive in good time to allow sufficient opportunity for runner registration.
